Not a great deal compared with other similar mountains.

With cheap flights to Marrakech with airlines such as Easyjet, getting to Morocco isn't expensive. There's a variety of options whilst you're there, ranging from UK based companies (I went with Exodus) to local companies or even an attempt yourself if you have previous experience in the UK/Alps in the snow.

Let me know if you want further details on any of the above to help plan your trip.

Hi Ian,

i did a search yesterday as I'm looking into climbing Mount Toukbal this March and came across your great blog. I have read all of it and am very impressed with your efforts. Congratulations, you have been to many places and up some beautiful mountains.

I was hoping I could ask you a question about what line of work you do that enables you to take so much time off. I'm 23 and just starting out on my professional and mountaineering careers and trying to find a medium in between both. I hope you don't mind me asking you this question, but i am really interested in how other people are able to do these things.

If you want to email me, it would be great to hear how you managed to get on with all these challenges and factor them in with your job etc.

my email address is sophieelizabethr@aol.com

if not, then congratulations on your endeavours and i wish you all the best for future adventures

thanks
