hi ya x i done crib goch on saturday 24th july 2010. it woz the most traquil day ever, the sun woz shinning not a breeze in the air, it woz bliss. i climed penny pass along the pig track, me and my partner got the binoculars out and watched people climb up crib goch. my partner had already climbed goch once before and tried to explain just how scary it was, he showed me pictures ov it on the website
, all i said woz ur bloody mad and i would neva do that in my wildest dreams. 3 months later we climb snowdon, im very happy with the pyg track bear in mind i had only climbed kinder scout twice before that, we reach the track ov no return to grib goch, for some silly reason i am drawn towards it, 1 minute later im climbing it, its like it has come alive and calling me, i was as scared as hell on the way up but at the same time i woz calm and at peace, i did freak out part way up but pulled myself together and told myself that i have to be very careful and really there was no turning back, i had to focus on the scrabble and that once i had reached the top i need to take one careful step at a time and enjoy the fact that i had adchived something pretty spectaculur. once reaching the top i cldnt and cant explain the veiws, the feelings, or excitement ov what i felt at that time, unless u have been there u could never explain just how it feels . i suffer from vertigo and know that i probably didnt get the same experienence as most people but im not complaining because in my eyes nobody could beat what i was feeling or had achieved what i had acheived on that day, it was the most freightening thing that i have ever done but yet the most awsome, frilling exciting feeling, i will carry those memories with me always and never forget them for as long as i live
