Carnedd Dafydd
I’ve been on top of Carnedd Dafydd (1,044m) a couple of times through walking the Cwm Llafar Horseshoe which is a pleasant walk that strings the main peaks of the Carneddau together nicely along a fantastic ridge. It’s a big if not very exciting looking mountain, that is unless you ascend it from the Cwm via the Crib Lem Spur (Grade 1 Scramble).
There’s a couple of articles on here about Carnedd Dafydd:
- As part of the Cwm Llafar Horseshoe with ascent via Yr Elen’s North Ridge in May 2009.
- Ascent of Carnedd Dafydd via the Crib Lem Spur with continuation of the horseshoe in September 2009.

Love your site! Am a keen walker since the 70′s, now doing more valleys and passes than summits, depending on weather and companions. Now 62, and hoping to keep walking till I drop! Wonderful photos and videos – well done!
